Cole Valley

Cole Valley is a centrally located neighborhood that is walkable and has great public transportation as the N MUNI train line runs right through it and will take you from Ocean Beach on the West to Downtown San Franciso on the East. Golden Gate Park is super close and is an amazing park with many attractions and is closed to vehicle traffic on the weekends so perfect for jogging, roller blading, biking and more. Kezar Stadium is also close by and has a rubberized track, perfect for low impact running and jogging and is open to the public. UCSF is right next door as well as is the Inner Sunset District with tons of shopping and dining options. The main shopping drag is Cole Street which has several great shops and restaurants. One of my favorites is Zazie which is a French restaurant with amazing brunch/benedict options. There are amazing city views and views of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and Marin Headlands from many points in the neighborhood including 600-foot-high Tank Hill and Mount Sutro/Sutro Forrest which give the borders of the neighborhood a woodsy feel. Most of the streets in this quaint neighborhood are lined with mature trees which gives this neighborhood an appeal over the parts of San Francisco that are cemented over. Halloween in Cole Valley is a big event with elaborate home decorations and closed off streets with house music bumping! This neighborhood has a combination of condos and single family homes, most built in the Victorian or Edwardian eras and is a perfect oasis in The City with easy access to many neighboring areas and amenities.
